A&D Ezi-Check INSPECTION SYSTEMS
A&D have been involved in providing components and building customised check-weighing systems for decades but in 2014 they launched a new line of modular systems that have revolutionised the inspection system market.
Japanese engineered, designed & built, the 2kg AD-4961 Ezi-check Check-weigher and AD-4971 Ezi-check metal detection systems with their low entry cost, super simple Touchscreen interface and easily configured stainless steel frame and conveyor components, have sold solidly into the supermarket produce market since launch.
The systems were simple enough that any operator could learn to create new products and be using the unit with minimal training. So successful was the 2kg check-weigher & metal detectors that within a year the 6kg versions were made available. The series has evolved even further now so that the touchscreen interface can be grafted onto any capacity conveyor to suit any custom requirement.
The systems are completed by a selection of reject mechanisms including a drop conveyor, a push ram and a dual channel flipper module
Recording of every judgement is maintained on a standard USB flash drive which can be removed and an excel spreadsheet of the production cycles data can be kept for auditing purposes
Not only are the machines easy to build and operate but they are very simple to maintain. Parts like conveyor belts and drive gears can be replaced in minutes by an operator with a phillips screwdriver.
The AD-4971metal detectors are available in 3 aperture pass heights (80mm, 150mm & 230mm) and 2 aperture widths and weight ratings (350mm-3kg & 450mm-6kg).
The AD-4961 checkweighers are available of the shelf in 2kg (350mm wide conveyor) and 6kg (450mm wide conveyor)
The Ezi-check Inspection Machines are able to comply with all the critical requirements of the major supermarkets Inspection Systems Code Of Practice including, Lockable bins, reject confirmation, bin full and air pressure fail safes.
