Metal Detection For Fresh Produce

Due to the recent fruit contamination scare that swept across the whole country Metal Detection Systems were front and centre on Television screens from all the major News Stations for two weeks. The sudden need for Metal Detectors in the strawberry sector alone was enormous and had most suppliers including ourselves, scrambling to get equipment out to producers to get their industries back up and running.

Thankfully the brand we sell and support A&D, are one of the few companies in Australia that were able to deploy equipment from their large amount of local stock and also fly some across from Japan, where they are manufactured and help these farmers get back on track.

Although the media hype has settled unfortunately the same danger still exists where some idiot can contaminate any fresh produce and it usually falls back to the grower to prove that it left their farm safe and contaminate free. So we are still supplying metal detection systems to clients wanting to ensure the peace of mind that their produce is safe by being properly tested and that their brand is protected.

The A&D AD-4971 Series of Metal Detectors are very simple to use and setup. We can have them stop on metal detection or by utilising one of the many types of pneumatic rejection systems available.
